Why We Are Passionate About The Bible

How I love Your instruction!
It is my meditation all day long.
Your commands make me wiser than my enemies,
for they are always with me.
I have more insight than all my teachers
because Your decrees are my meditation.
I understand more than the elders
because I obey Your precepts.
I have kept my feet form every evil path
to follow Your word.
I have not turned from Your judgments,
for You Yourself have instructed me.
How sweet Your word is to my taste–
sweeter than honey in my mouth.
I gain understanding from Your precepts;
therefore I hate every false way.
Your word is a lamp for my feet
and a light on my path.

Psalm 119:97-105

The Word of Jesus is every bit as alive and needed today as it was when He walked the earth. Come and hear His saving message presented with power and hope for today’s world. Join us for worship, music, Bible study, family events, and programs for all ages.

Supremacy of God

There is one God, living and true, who is spiritual and personal, and is seen as the creator, redeemer, and preserver of the universe.

Lordship of Jesus Christ

We believe that “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.” (2 Cor. 5:19) We are called through His life, death, and resurrection to a personal salvation.

Presence of The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who is one in substance with God the Father and Jesus Christ. This Trinity is the way God expresses Himself in the world in creation and redemption. We believe with Paul that God “has put his seal upon us and given his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” (2 Cor 1:22)

Freedom of Conscience

We ask with Paul “Why should my liberty be determined by another man’s conscience?” (I Cor. 10:29) And we seek His answer, “Let us no more pass judgment on one another, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother… Let us pursue what makes for peace and mutual upbringing.” (Rom. 14:13-19)

Hope of the World

That like John, we shall see “a new heaven and a new earth” (Rev. 21:1) for “behold, the dwelling of God is with men.” (Rev.21:3)
